Pendant pendulum type sprinklers are easy to use and extremely safe. The sprinkler is placed on the pipe network specially designed to cover the area needing protection. The liquid inside the glass tube, an important part of the sealing element, expands and bursts due to the heat generated by the fire. During a fire, sprinklers should be selected for temperatures exceeding 30°C above the expected maximum ambient temperature. Upon the glass tube bursting, water under pressure strikes the deflector, spraying onto the fire. They are suitable for use in places with suspended ceilings or where downward sprinklers are appropriate. The water spreads downwards in a conical shape, and can be used with a rosette. |
