The Elastomer Seated Sliding Valve has a flat valve base that allows sand and gravel in the valve to pass freely. If impurities pass when the valve is closed, the rubber surface closes around the impurities while the valve is closed.
Sliding valves operate by the movement of a slide, operated by an endless threaded spindle in the vertical plane, allowing or stopping the flow of fluid. Sliding valves do not have an adjustment valve and should be used fully open or fully closed. The soft gasket coating on the slide ensures perfect sealing. |
