Lug Vulcanized Butterfly Valve (Nickel Plated Disc, PN16) |

Lug Vulcanized Butterfly Valves are preferred for being generally cheaper and lighter compared to other valve designs, requiring less support. The disc is placed in the middle of the pipe. A rod passes through the disc to an actuator outside the valve. Rotating the actuator turns the disc parallel or perpendicular to the flow. Unlike a ball valve, the disc remains in the flow at all times, causing a pressure drop even when open. This product is produced as Nickel Plated in Spheroidal Cast Iron. |
