Metal seated sliding valves are primarily designed for flow isolation of a pipeline length or equipment component. It uses a resilient iron gate featuring bronze rings to provide watertight sealing.
Sliding valves operate by the movement of a gate, known as a slide, along a vertical plane via an endless screw spindle, allowing or blocking the flow of fluid. They are designed to be fully open or fully closed without adjustment, ensuring tight sealing through metal components on the slide and body. This feature makes them suitable for applications requiring high temperatures. |
